    Quality product at a great price

    My Elite USA Stage 2 expansion from PowerBlock Deals was a fantastic purchase. The quality is great, and the price is unbeatable. My stage 2 expansion kit works perfectly. They arrived with some minor scratches on the plate faces and some significant scratching/wear on the corners of the arms that connect the plates--right where the stage 1 plate arms would sit on these. I picked up some cheap black automotive touch-up paint and now they're as good as new! I didn't take a picture before touching up the paint (sorry), but the scratching looked like normal wear from slight use. My stage 1 plates have similar wear from a couple months of use. The top of the plates are shaped slightly differently from my stage 1 plates (see photo). That slight difference is totally not noticeable when using them. I'm super happy with the purchase, and am just wondering now if I can wait for a stage 3 expansion to show up on the deals site, or if I'll jump the gun and buy new.

    Pricey, but great addition

    The pricing seems high for these additional weights. The base set ($3.99/lb. totaling $399) price makes more sense because you get the adjustable handles that make weight swapping and space saving possible (space saving was the biggest reason I got these). The Stage 2 set ($4.98/lb. totaling $199) costs more per pound just for plates. Not sure why. I saved up Amazon gift card dollars to get this. This is why I dinged a star.

    However, the plates I received are a perfect fit for my set (I've seen reviews where people have needed to swap) and they are just what I needed to up my game. I have been doing heavier farmer's carries, heavier lawnmower pulls, and heavier weighted squats. At some point in the future I'd like to get the Stage 3 set.
